Esantrain va Niela hen Trath Vinta
Description
Esan is a 7 foot 2 inches tall, physically powerful looking orc with a violent temperament fuelled by torments of a forgotten past life.
He generally keeps his head covered by the hood of his cloak so as to cover his features when in civilisation.
Languages
Esan speaks Common and Elven
History
He remembers very little earlier than the last two years, beyond the following:
- His elven name and fleeting snapshots of a peaceful childhood in a tree-filled beautiful city.
- His violent murder, though not the circumstances or the perpetrator
- Awakening in the Boneyard and an unknown time of waiting due to a refusal to pass beyond it that even the psychopomps could not overcome.
- Piqueing the interest of a visiting Ancient Cloud Dragon who subsequently bargained with the psychopomps for the return of his spirit to the mortal world.
- Blessed reincarnation, but into the body not just of a despised orc, but one that stands out from the crowds.
Esan wished often for death again in the first year of his new life and often nearly found it, but discovered that he is now very hard to kill.
After a period of reflection, Esan learned to channel his anger at the events of the past into a controlled rage centred on his veneration for his enigmatic Cloud Dragon benefactor.
Not knowing what to do with himself, he travels around hiring out his brawn to those wandering trade caravans not too afraid that he will lead them to an ambush of his 'kin'.
He is always hoping that his dreams will help him to remember something more from before his death or that his wanderings will bring him face to face with his patron.
