- Southtown is the capital city of a kingdom in a coastal region on the world known as Erthe.
- It is a port city fortified with ancient city walls. Over the years population expansions have caused the city environs to grow beyond the protection of the walls.
- The city has a newspaper which recently detailed some intrigue in Westharbour (see also quest logs).
- Southtown is the home of shadowy government agent Franseza
