Root of Evil
Some of the rules may be modified this weekend, but here is the first edition. Suggestions are welcome, but I will ignore them as I see fit.

Setting
Vendren
Vendren is a prosperous harbourtown at the edge of the empire, with abundant trade. Since the town is so far from the centre of power, it is used to fend for itself. There are high walls around it, topped with watchtowers and gates that close every night at sundown. People here like to think of themselves as pioneers, even though they have every known comfort available to them.
People of all races live here and all kinds of trades are known. There are many temples and stores that will sell you exotic goods. There is also one of the better academies of magic to be found anywhere, which is attended by pupils from hundreds of miles around.
The many spires of the city can be seen for miles and welcome the inhabitants home.
