Shadow tainted animals are ordinary animals corrupted by close and prolonged contact with the Plane of Shadows.
Template
A shadow tainted animal is an animal (the base animal) corrupted by close and prolonged contact with the Plane of Shadows. They retain their animal characteristics and gain some aspects of creatures from the shadow plane.
All abilities, skills, attacks remain the same, the animals become less corporeal (DC5/20% miss chance, require magic weapons to hit), and gain the shadow fade ability.
