The Portable Dispensary

This resembles a narrow sealed metal box (15 x 15 x 3 cm) on a satchel strap. The box has what look like the rounded bottoms of 8 glass test tubes sticking out of the top. Each of the test tubes contains what seems to be a coloured liquid, except the first which has clear liquid. There are sliders in front of each of the coloured test tubes. There is a small lever in a recess near the bottom of the box that can be pressed upwards.

The tubes do not directly relate to anything immediately obvious and study will be required to unlock the functions. Slight depression of the lever will dispense a tiny amount of lotion that can be analysed. This can be attempted twice per day. A third press or an initial firm press will lock the sliders and dispense a full measure as per an infusion extract.

A valid combination, once analysed can be added to an alchemist's formula book with 2 hours of downtime, which can be during rest.
An analysed valid combination can be selected and dispensed as an infusion as a standard action.
Only one infusion of any kind can be dispensed per day.

While carried, an alchemist can take a full round action to recover a level 1 extract that has already been used for the day (as per Pearl of Power).

Further engineering investigation may unlock extra features.
