If the 'cloak of black' is a home-made item, can you describe it on the items page please DM :) I guess we need to know how it's activated etc.

My assumption is that it's like a minor cloak of displacement but without the permanent effect (and the 24000gp price tag ;)
I make it (CL of 5 * spell level of 2 (Blur) * 2000 for use activation) all divided by 5 (one use per day) = 4000gp

Is that right? I guess if it's command word activated it's slightly cheaper... (3600GP)

It's command word activated. It can't be use activated because using a cloak is wearing it and the effect isn't permanent. -- David 19:28, 28 March 2007 (BST)
